Overall all I was dissatisfied. The room was nice however when entering the room the sofa bed was not set up which it “claimed to be included on hotels.com” went down to the front desk and asked about it not being set up and was told we had to pay £30 to set it up because we didn’t request it even tho my booking clearly said I requested it. When requesting to speak to manager about it we were informed there weren’t any in over the weekend which isn’t great we are now home and have no way of getting this ridiculous charge refunded.

A well above average hotel room/apartment. Well appointed with a fridge, microwave, crockery & cutlery and tea & coffee facilities. Comfortable bed and good lighting choices. Close to the city centre..10 mins walk to Birmingham Rep. 15 mins to The Bullring and New St. station.

Apartment was well set up, extremely clean and perfectly located for a city break in Birmingham. Finishes and decor were nice touches, characterful and well maintained. Good brands used throughout show quality, for example, decent treseme hairdryer, good mattress, good coffee machine in room, sclar gluten free options etc) and did I mention clean? Even the top of the microwave (with an extreme food allergy, I have to check) spotless! An excellent shower, comfy bed, good mattress, and everything you need to be able to live comfortably for a week I’d say… But, the jewel was the breakfast team… Mavis and her collegues were friendly, helpful, and eager to please. I needed access to the allergy menu, which they sorted, and then when my options were limited (which is normal and perfectly fine) they presented me with an off the menu option, having taken the time to understand (and I think source?) something for me to eat. My other friends staying had a lovely cooked breakfast too, all the options available and an efficient, enjoyable experience - which is hard to do in a big hotel, let alone more of a contemporary style one, hands down, impressive! We will be back, thank you, especially to Mavis and the male manager on shift ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really clean, modern apartment with all you need for a comfortable city break. 3 adults fit comfortably with enough space. We all commented how the place exceeded expectations. Staff were very friendly. Mavis serving breakfast was super helpful, smiley and attentive. Did not get his name but we presume, the manger was also approachable & helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. One member of the group experiences severe celiac disease & again she was catered for with no issue. Even above what she had requested, which was a rare & pleasant surprise.

Arrived at 415pm to be told they had given our rooms to someone else and hadn’t any rooms left. Waited an hour and half for them to find us a room. Reception staff hadn’t a clue and the manager not much better. Literally had ten mins to shower and change before we had to go out for dinner. Other than that the room was clean and spacious with comfy beds
